**Update as of January 2021**

In December the City of Greater Geelong took position of our building and deemed it unsafe for use., strange as it has served us well for the previous 23 years. We are currently meeting on a Tuesday Night at The South Barwon Community Center, 33 Mt Pleasant Rd, Belmont, from 8:00 PM.

We are yet to secure a new home for the club but will update the site when information becomes available.

The GRES was founded in 1963 when a group of Radio Amateurs saw the need to further advance theirs and others knowledge in various electronic fields. This is still being carried out today. We are also active in maintaining a very large Historic and Antique Radio Museum, one part situated in the Club Rooms and the other at The Old Geelong Gaol which is open for inspection by the public.

If you have an interest in or just a fascination about these activities, why not check out our calendar here for our meeting times and join us for a coffee and chat.  Whether you are a current or lapsed Radio Amatuer or just curious about radio and electronics, we guarantee you will come away learning something amazing.   If that whets your appetite and you are interested in developing a hobby in radio and electronics, then we welcome you to apply for club membership.
